For Rotator Cuff ReinforcementThe Leeds-Kuff Patch is a permanent implant constructed from knitted polyester fabric. It thus provides long term stability and encourages tissue ingrowth throughout the healing process. It is available sterile in three sizes to suit varying patient anatomy, size of tear, or extent of poor quality tissue.
How it Works
A standard cuff repair is performed, then the apex of the patch is sutured to the cuff
The patch is anchored with two medial stitches
One or more additional sutures are placed down each side
The patch is pulled laterally over the tuberosities and anchored with perosseous sutures
